Rat Attack…

Dubbed the ‘skinny jean meets legging’, the Black Rat tights have given us reason to ignore the ‘leggings are not pants’ mentality and it seems the phenomenon that is Black Rat’s has hit Hollywood as well…

The rats were highly anticipated since appearing in their runway shows and have already been snapped up by the likes of Mischa Barton, Kate Bosworth and Nicky Hilton

We think these hot little numbers have done pretty well considering they were never intended for public release…after causing such a stir in their New York and Sydney shows, they were prompted into production and have since been a sell-out worldwide.

This must-have item never stays in store for long- already on our 4th delivery; these will be gone before you know it!

New to the Rat family and due in store towards the end of October are the PVC version $299, the Stirrup Rats $259 and the Bronze, $259 and Leopard colourways $329. These have very limited availability so be sure to pre order yours now!

Chronicles of Never

Welcome to Never, Neverland….

A somewhat fitting description for the label that cite their current inspiration as coming from the fantastical and mythical worlds of Narnia and Neverland.

These of you who know Ksubi are likely to recognise the name Gareth Moody- the man behind the relatively new brand Chronicles of Never. Moody was one third of the original Ksubi team.

A few years on and a few years older, Moody decided to go it alone, and launched himself into the fashion world solo, leaving the madness of Ksubi behind.

Chronicles has been described as simultaneously leading and ignoring fashion…a description that rather fits the sharp and striking design of the clothing.

The latest collection, entitled “Black Noise, White Rain”, has an androgynous feel to it, and includes shirts, shorts, scarves, hoodies, pants, shoes and vests.

Since the labels beginning in 2006, Chronicles already has a cult following in Australia, and the UK and US alike, with stockists in high-end department stores such as Selfridges in London, and Seven in New York.

In addition to their accessories line, Chronicles have also released a line of sunglasses and jewellery, which are set to arrive in store by early November.

It is Superette’s 2nd season of stocking the Chronicle’s collection and after being quickly snapped up last season, this even bigger and better season will be gone before you know it.

With a track record like this so far, we think Chronicles is off to a rather appropriately fairytale start…

Ksubi Eyes

Going Going Gone…

With production of their sunglasses now moved offshore to Japan, the much-loved styles such as the Geezer, Ifould, Padget and Hancock will soon be no more.

Ksubi have decided to discontinue their original styles to make way for the new shapes and styles of their summer range.

However, all is not lost just yet as Superette have managed to secure the very last shipment of these styles from America.

Ksubi introduced sunnies into their range in late 2004 and they have since become a main feature of their fashion range.

With a mix between retro and modern shapes, Ksubi have had a hit with these unisex styles that come in colours ranging from classic black to the quirkier and more original colourways of feather prints and mirror lenses.

Made with unbreakable, gradient lenses and Italian acetate, these sunnies have a cult following with customers of all ages and are always a sell-out come summertime.

So now that the sun is finally shining, come down and grab your favourite styles before its too late!

The new summer styles are due November 15th (Fingers crossed)

Birdcages, crossbones and rock-and-roll lyrics are just some of the things that make up the chunky style jewellery.

Check out some of the impressive look book images below, which were shot by renowned New Zealand photographer Derek Henderson.
