No wardrobe will be quite the same without this amazing fitted leather jacket from Sass & Bide. Yes, that’s right, the ‘I Told a Lie’ leather jacket has finally arrived. The first time around these babies sold out within a few hours so no doubt this long awaited re-cut won’t be on the racks for long.
Thick & super soft leather, this jacket wears like a second skin. Contrast rib inserts give a casual feel and adds extra comfort and movement. This chic biker jacket features an over-sized collar, and carries some seriously heavy hardware detailing for added biker chick attitude.

Next week not only sees the opening of our brand spanking new Ponsonby store but also the arrival of our first drop of Nudie denim! Superette is super excited about this new addition to our current denim offering and we know you will be too!
For these of you that aren’t familiar with the Nudie brand- The Swedish born denim company was founded in 1999 and specialize in raw and pre-washed denim jeans ( however the collection has also grown to include many other items of casual clothing and accessories)
Nudie denim’s philosophy goes beyond just creating a product that serves to fulfill a need or function. As a true jeans brand, Nudie are not looking for the short-term trends. The inspiration is far from glamour and catwalks. The collection is tight, like a rock band, reflecting the feeling of everyday life
Nudie is the ”naked truth about denim”. Denim has the ability to age beautifully – formed by its user into a second skin, naked and personal. The longer it lives the more character it gets. The indigo is a living colour that fades and gives the denim its character. So the idea behind Nudie denim is the more you wear your jeans the more beautiful they get!
Come check out Nudie ( and the new store) next week!
We think this gorgeous new arrival from Lover- the Bianca dress- does a pretty good job of paying homage to its namesake, Bianca Jagger- the ultimate style icon who epitomized late 70’s Studio 54 glamour.

Chronicles of Never’s Gareth Moody has designed a diffusion collection of staple pieces to sit alongside his mainline collection. Moody’s spring/summer 09/10 collection ‘Blind Silence, Audible Vision’ now includes a new installment entitled ‘Black Noise, White Rain’. This range is dedicated to an ongoing collection of more accessible and core styles. Clean-cut tees and singlets, classic jeans and his amazing leather shoes and boots (at a much more accessible price point) are married with Chronicles signature tailored and fluid silhouettes whilst still maintaining the labels androgynous aesthetic and refined style.
‘Black Noise, White Rain’ strengthens Moody’s repertoire of deconstructed basics and signature printed tees and tanks. The collection is sleek, sharp and striking without being overly designed and is all made from super-soft and high quality fabrics.
Moody’s ongoing commitment to creative collaboration and consistently cross-discipline approach to fashion has built a strong identity for the label: one that encompasses art and a strong conceptual framework as a basis for fashion, thus forming a common sentiment amongst followers globally.

Take a look at some of the very cool snaps of some pages that feature in the limited edition Vans ‘Stories of Sole’ book that we managed to nab a copy of.
The black and white checkerboard bound book tells the multi-generational story of Vans’ do-it-yourself community, one which encompasses boards, bikes, art and music, as well as the one shoe keeping it all together.
‘Off the Wall’ provides an intimate, and not to mention visually-stunning account of how the Vans company has changed the face of popular culture, since its founding in 1966. The book features photography by some of the top action-sports photographers in the world, and presents the history of the iconic shoe brand with an energetic design that evokes both punkzine aesthetic and California coastal cool.
Superette has both the black and white versions of the original canvas shoe that started it all in-store and online (here) now!
While animal prints are nothing new, leopard print in particular is quickly becoming one of the biggest trends for summer. We love the way Lover has worked the classic spots into both their clothing and swimwear range this season with their eye catching ‘Zulu Print’ story.
