GUEST BLOGGERS: Part five with Bec & Bridge

We have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the second winter installment 'La Ville La Fille' from the talented girls at Bec & Bridge. Think warm shearling vests, effortless cool denim shirting and covetable party dresses. Channeling style icons like Bardot and Birkin, 'La Ville, La Fille' takes its inspiration from the eternally stylish aura of the city of Paris and injects a splash of Aussie sexiness and quirk.

On a day like today….

A cute outtake from our ‘On the Run’ editorial. Our models above – Chris and Courtney,  had amazing chemistry both on (and off!) the camera…lucky for us we had picked two faces who already knew each other ( Chris and Courtney lived together when they were both working in Milan last year). We thought we would share this snug snap with you as on this cold and blustery day, the rugged and warm ensembles they are in look like the perfect attire to be wearing today.

Current love…

The brand new ‘Immediate Response’ tribal inspired coat wrap from sass & bide. This asymmetric wrap features a detachable waist tie with many loop holes, making for a super versatile style and the perfect layering piece. The soft drapey silhouette combined with the strong graphic print is a must have for our winter wardrobe.

We love how Pip Edwards ( sass & bide’s accessories designer ) wears hers layered up with a shearling vest. Get the look with the Immediate Response Wrap, and bec & bridge’s Amelie Vest.

Look we love #2 … Leather shorts.

We’ve been hunting for a cute pair of leather shorts for quite a wee while now- the ones we have found have always been not quite right…too long, too short, too loose, too tight (never a good look in leather), so needless to say, we are super excited that our pick of the lot for the season- the ‘B Mine’ leatherette shorties from Bec & Bridge are finally here!

And we’ll be wearing them in any of the ways you see below. Hot! Bec & Bridge shorts available here.

Scouts Honor.

We spotted the bec & bridge ‘Scouts Honor’ Parka in the latest Marie Claire magazine and it reminded us how excited we are for this jacket to arrive. A khaki parka is this winters must have- super easy to throw over anything, and with winter’s unpredictable weather, a practical jacket like this is a must-have!

We’ve been getting inspired by the parka trend for a wee while now…check out some of these ladies rock it below.
